New Year

Dear Parents, January 8, 2010

Happy New Year! We would like to thank you for all the beautiful cards and gifts we received prior to winter break, we greatly appreciate your generosity! We said good bye to Cindy who is now going to a daycare on campus. Welcome to our new students, Jack in the morning class and William in the afternoon class, we are happy to have you join our class.

We are studying different aspects light that include electricity and the solar system. We are looking at field trip possibilities and will let you know as they are set up. If anyone would be willing to come in and demonstrate how electricity works please let us know.

As the weather is warming up we will be going outside to play in the snow. We will go outside when it is above -20. We always look at the weather website before we go outside and we look at the windchill factor. Please ensure your children bring snowpants and waterproof mitts on Mondays and Wednesdays. If any families are able to donate some mitts for the school, we would appreciate it.
